About Our Company

We plan to create new jobs and run apprenticeship schemes. We will help people get back into work and for others to retrain in a new career.

For our major research projects, we use external facilities to keep the costs down. This provides us with the means of gathering data and conducting studies.

Future Wildfires
Wildfires are projected to become more intense in the future due to various factors, mainly influenced by climate change and human activities. Here’s why:

1. Climate Change

2. Increased Fuel Use

3. Increased Frequency of Extreme Weather Events

4. Urban Expansion

5. Land Management Practices

6. Global Patterns

7. Arson

Given these factors, unless substantial changes are implemented in climate policy, land management, and urban planning, wildfires are likely to become more frequent, intense, and damaging in the future.

In pursuit of our goal, we place a premium on quality, sustainability, and adaptability to ensure that we remain a trustworthy partner in your defence against wildfires. We prioritise safety by ensuring our wildfire protection systems are reliable and efficient.

We also prioritise quality by taking responsibility for providing the best possible solutions to our customers.

We operate with integrity and dedication and strive to build trust with our clients through our commitment to them.

Sustainability is another core value that we hold dear, and we are constantly adapting to environmental
and industry changes.

We are excited about the journey ahead and remain dedicated to these values, guiding our operations and customer interactions.

Silvflame Trademark Registration (Trademarks)

The business's intellectual property includes a Silvflame Trademark Registration. This mark, registered in May 2020 under No. UK00003489808 in the United Kingdom, specifically covers Class 9 for wildfire protection systems.

This includes a fabric system designed for wildfire containment, infrastructure protection, emergency vehicle protection and use as an evacuation system. Although the business has not yet commenced trading, this trademark provides exclusive legal rights to use the Silvflame name for wildfire protection systems, thereby preventing competitors from using similar branding and establishing a clear market identity from the outset.

Silvflame Wildfire Barrier (Patents)

Silvflame Ltd possesses key intellectual property in the form of a patent, labelled as the "Silvflame Wildfire Barrier" and registered in the United Kingdom under No. 2505115.2 in April 2025.
This patented technology for wildfire containment and protection systems offers enhanced defence against wildfire spread and impact, integrating advanced fire management principles with effective deployment methods.

It is directly applied to a range of the business's forthcoming products and services, including wildfire protection systems such as SF- CriticalDefend and SF-HomeGuard, as well as wildfire containment systems like SF-SwiftShield.

This proprietary technology provides Silvflame Ltd with a significant competitive advantage, enabling the development and deployment of unique, high-performance wildfire mitigation solutions that offer superior protection for critical assets, communities, and natural landscapes, thus establishing a robust position in the global fire protection market.

Message From Our Founder

My name is Jon Silvester. I am the Director and creator of Silvflame Ltd. I serve as a full-time caregiver for my wife and am a father of five children. In 2012, I made the decision to leave my career as a
district nurse to devote myself to caring for my disabled wife and children.

In February 2016, while driving on the M5 motorway in Worcestershire, I pulled over, believing I had a blown tyre. I have no recollection of the events that followed. Six hours later, police located me a mile from the stop. Initially, authoritiessuspected that I had been struck by a vehicle. However, after reviewing traffic footage, they determined that I had been stumbling, falling, and repeatedly wandering onto the motorway—a sequence of events for which I have no memory.

It was subsequently confirmed that I had suffered multiple seizures. I spent three weeks in hospital recovering from extensive injuries, marking the onset of Epilepsy and Functional Neurological Disorder (FND). In the months following, I experienced many seizures a day, resulting in numerous injuries. Although medication has generally controlled the seizures, it has not been without severe side effects. Despite these challenges, this difficult period sparked a surge of creativity that ultimately led to the founding of Silvflame Ltd.

I take great pride in our research and development efforts in collaboration with wildfire specialists both in the UK and abroad, and I am honoured to work alongside my family. Although our journey has been marked by financial struggles, the-impact of COVID-19, health challenges, disabilities, and unreliable business relationships, we continue to innovate and progress.
The unwavering support and resilience of my loved ones have been my greatest strength, and I remain profoundly grateful for their encouragement throughout this journey.

Myself and Andy have been working on changing UK legislation to help the UK, In regards to the UK wildfire situation that will continue to get worse every year. We have had meetings with members of the British government to review the 1981 Countryside, legislation act and to bring it up-to-date. Because at present it does not mention climate change and wildfires.
